The word Alumni, a plural noun, has its origin from seventeenth century Latin. It stands for a Foster son / ward / pupil.
From its founding, Neelkanth Vidyapeeth, The Top Boys Residential School in Hyderabad, has fostered the growth of many individuals for over a decade.
Since their passing out, the Gurukul has continued its bonding with each one of them. To take its commitment further, the Gurukul formed “SNVP PARIVAR”. It is a formal portal for all the Alumni of Gurukul to reconnect and relive their blessed childhood. It also platforms them a chance to revive golden past, and things they learned here.
On bright and right occasions, Gurukul uses the in season experience of our former students and present pillars of the world. On Annual days, during the soft skill sessions, fairs and exhibitions; with our present jewels, the gurukul also celebrates the achievements of our alumni in the outside world after their schooling. We mean these interactions to give a clear sense to our present students of the value of Gurukul life and lessons it teaches. In a way this also helps our learners to gather the practical and present society, its ways. They get to know the ins and outs thus even before they actually move into the society. Thus it is as blooming as an experience to our learner of present as to the alumnus.
Hardly has the Gurukul found a former student with no inclination and fond towards it. Most of them remember the place where their attitude blossomed. Which shaded their lives with a fruitful culture and knowledge.
