With the patriotic fervor and majestic approach the students of Neelkanth Vidyapeeth celebrated Republic day with great zeal and zest. Whole school stood fast for the jubilant victory of Independent India.
The serene atmosphere was transformed into pomp and show with the dynamic entry of the Chief Guest, Major Cingireddy Bharat Kumar.
The 70th republic day began with the traditional prayer of the school and lamp lightening followed by the flag hoisting by the Retd. Major Cingireddy Bharat Kumar accompanied by the Holy saints of the Gurukul. After the welcome speech introduction of the chief guest, a series of speeches resumed. It was reminded in the speeches of the Director of the school and the chief guest that on the same day in 1950, our constitution came into force and our country became republic.The director of school addressed the gathering emphasizing the need of students’ participation in social services for the upliftment and enlightenment of future India
Especially, the experiences shared by the chief guest regarding the lives of the soldiers and their sacrifices motivated the students. He also mentioned that he would like to serve the army, if an opportunity given in the next birth.
The saints of the Gurukul emphasized on our contribution to the nation on this auspicious occasion. A special tribute was paid to our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for today’s free India. The school reverberated patriotic fervor and enthusiasm ending with the prize distribution and the vote of thanks.
